NOMINATIONS:
Deadline for submitting nominations is July 21, 2008.
You can mail nominations to SHS Nominations, 92 Grand Blvd. Ext., Shelby,
OH 44875. You can email nominations to blackfork63@msn.com.
If you have been nominated and would like to amend the nomination writeup
on the nominee web page, perhaps adding information omitted by nominators,
email your edits to blackfork63@msn.com
or mail them to SHS Nominations, 92 Grand Blvd. Ext., Shelby, OH 44875. Likewise,
if you see that someone has been nominated and would like to see something
– facts or a quote – added to the nominee’s writeup, email
your additions to blackfork63@msn.com.
VOTING: In casting
your votes for induction for 2008, you may vote for up to 5 alumni and 1 former
teacher/administrator. If you choose to email your votes, send them to blackfork63@msn.com.
Emailed votes must arrive by the close of Wednesday, July 30, 2008.
If an alumni couple share the same email address, for each to cast votes,
they must show their full name after the names of the nominees for whom they
are voting.
Or you may vote at the open SHS Alumni Association Voting Meeting on Saturday,
August 2, 2008 at 10 a.m. at the Alumni Center on South Gamble in
Shelby.
A three-person team will monitor and aggregate emailed votes as they arrive,
and a second three-person team will aggregate the emailed votes with those
cast at the August 4 voting meeting to determine the 2007 SHS Hall of Distinction
inductees who will be recognized at Alumni Homecoming on October 3-4,
2008 .
You may vote at any time between now and August 6, 2008 via
email. But you can submit votes only once so you might want
to keep in mind that nominations will be accepted until the close of August
6, 2008 and then will be posted at the Shelby Schools website.
